MABLETON, Ga. — A metro Atlanta city is warning residents their tax bills may have an error on them.

The City of Mableton says an error has caused interest charges to appear on some tax bills before the payment deadline.
The city’s online payment portal now reflects the correction, as interest won’t be added to tax balances that are outstanding until Dec. 6.
Residents with concerns or who need assistance should reach out to the city’s Revenue Division at (404) 490-1323.
