Athens-Clarke County police and fire are working to secure the area around a damaged historic building Wednesday morning.
Police say E. Broad Street is closed between College Ave. and N. Thomas Street for the investigation.
A photo shared by Athens-Clarke County Fire shows the part of the building gone and canopy damaged. The building is where Magnolias Bar of Athens is located.
