A local nonprofit group, Sunshine On a Ranney Day, has renovated a local mother's home so she can have more space for her adopted children with special needs.
Channel 2 Action News was there when Estella Sims saw the makeover.
The renovations included a larger bedroom with more storage space for her children.
“This is just gonna change my life, change my life, we can move, we can breathe, oh God, we can do everything in here,” Sims said.
Sims has fostered more than 20 medically fragile children the past 40 years.
