Isolated showers, storms Tuesday

ATLANTA — Isolated showers and storms are forecast for north Georgia through the rest of the week.

Rain chances will run around 30% for the metro area Tuesday afternoon.

Temperatures will be in the upper 80s Tuesday and Wednesday and the mid to low 80s toward the end of the week.

An area of low pressure along the Florida coast is bringing moisture to parts of south Georgia.

The low will drift back toward the northwest tomorrow, bringing more widespread rain to middle and south Georgia.

Severe Weather Team 2 is tracking higher rain chances as we move into the second half of the weekend.
