Georgia State Fair at Atlanta Motor Speedway moves forward with COVID-19 measures

HENRY COUNTY, Ga. — While several county and other state fairs have been canceled, the Georgia State Fair is going forward with this year’s event in Henry County.

The 172nd Georgia State Fair will take place Oct. 2-11 at the Atlanta Motor Speedway with COVID-19 measures in place to keep visitors safe.

Everyone will be required to wear a face mask and have their temperature checked before they enter. Masks can only be removed to eat while seated in designated eating areas.

The fair said social distancing will be strictly enforced with 6-feet dividing markers in the lines for rides and concessions.

Admission costs $10 for ages 13 and older and $5 for kids ages 5-12. Kids four and under get free admission. The fair is offering unlimited ride wristbands for $25.

A full schedule of each day’s events is now available at GeorgiaStateFair.org.
