Channel 2′s Audrey Washington spoke with a park visitor who has seen the man before.
“It’s despicable," Daniel Sherrill said. “I have seen him walking the trails before.”
“Apparently other women have seen this man before. He will try to have conversation, get in close, grab them by the arm and try to kiss them," said Sgt. Howard Miller, with the Alpharetta Police Department.
If caught, officials said the man will be arrested and charged with simple battery.
“It’s really odd. At this point, we’re not sure if he’s a dangerous predator or an elderly man suffering from a mental illness," Miller said.
“It’s kind of weird in this neighborhood. You just don’t think it," resident Lorraine Lindsay said.
If you see him around or know who he is, you are urged to call 911.
