Emory’s coronavirus response team slays Tik Tok challenge after days of administering tests

HALL COUNTY, Ga. — Emory's Coronavirus Outbreak Response Team proved you can be a superhero in the field -- and on the dance floor.

A group from the University's Epidemiology Department posted video of their take on the Blinding Lights Challenge this weekend. Dressed in scrubs, facemasks and gloves, they dance along to The Weeknd's hit for their own hilarious take on the Tik Tok challenge.

Professor and Vice Chair of the Epidemiology Department Jodie Guest said they had just finished a grueling three days of running COVID-19 tests at sites in hard-hit Hall County and were still going strong. The team was working to test poultry plant workers and their contacts.

“Three days of #COVID19 testing in rural Georgia and this is our proudest accomplishment through it all,” one student wrote on Twitter.
