GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Gwinnett County police have launched a homicide investigation after a woman’s body was found at a park.
Police said officers received a call that a body was found at the Yellow River Park around 6 a.m.
Police said they believe the woman in her 20s was shot to death. Authorities don’t know exactly how long the woman had been at the park.

The woman has not yet been identified, but police said she had distinctive tattoos on her neck. The tattoos include red lips with the numbers 222 above them.

The park is located near Stone Mountain on Juhan Road Southwest.
Video from NewsChopper 2 shows more than a dozen investigators with crime scene markers walking to the scene where the body was found.
