FLOYD COUNTY, Ga. — A Georgia man is accused of multiple drug charges, including having enough narcotics to qualify as a drug dealer within 1,000 feet of an elementary school.
According to an arrest warrant in Floyd County, Marvin Lee Barrett had large amounts of cocaine and marijuana.
Based on his charges, it was enough for him to be charged with having drugs with intent to distribute them.

Barrett was found in possession of nearly 60 grams of cocaine and 820 grams of marijuana, plus the materials needed to weigh and package the narcotics.
The arrest warrant says he was found with all of these drugs and items within 1,000 feet of a school where young children went to study.
Barrett faces the following charges, records show:
- Possession of Cocaine
- Possession of Cocaine with intent
- Possession of marijuana
- Possession of marijuana with intent
- Possession of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school
- Trafficking cocaine
