HOUSTON COUNTY, Ga. — Warner Robins High School students will return to class on Monday for the first time since a student was shot last week.
The shooting happened Wednesday around 2:15 p.m. after two freshmen got into an argument inside a school restroom. Investigators told WGXA-TV that the students were arguing over a vape.
One of the students then pulled out a gun and shot the other in the leg. The 14-year-old suspect is being held without bond. The victim is expected to fully recover.

The school does not have metal or weapon detectors. Houston County Sheriff Matt Moulton told WGXA-TV that the student likely brought the gun to school in his backpack. He also confirmed to the news station that the gun was stolen.
Warner Robins High School elected to cancel classes for the rest of the week for students.
Principal Brett Wallace and Superintendent Richard Rogers say Monday’s return will include an increased school officer presence and additional monitoring in hallways and common areas, plus extra counselors, and support staff on hand.
