2 sisters missing, Atlanta police believe babysitter abducted them

ATLANTA — Atlanta police are searching for two missing children who they believe were kidnapped by their babysitter.

Zola Cooper, 4, and her 11-month-old sister Norah Cooper were last seen with their babysitter in the area of Jones Avenue and James P. Brawley Drive NW.

This is a breaking news story. The latest developments on Channel 2 Action News This Morning from 4:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Zola is 3 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs 42 pounds. She was last seen wearing a multicolored dress. Norah weighs 28 pounds and is missing two index and middle fingers on her right hand. She was last seen wearing a pink onesie.

Channel 2 Action News reached out to Atlanta police for the babysitter’s name and a description. Police responded saying it is an “very active investigation” and “additional information” will be released once they get it.
