HALL COUNTY, Ga. — A Hall County jury took only 90 minutes to deliberate the fate for a former bus driver accused of rape, child molestation and other charges.
The jury returned a guilty verdict on all 16 counts for Marvin Hogan Jr. on Thursday afternoon.
“Hall County jurors sent a clear message that these children are worthy of belief. Our office will always fight to keep our youngest and most vulnerable citizens safe,” said Acting District Attorney Jennifer Bagwell who tried the case.
One of Hogan’s victims testified that she was abused from the time she was four years old until she was 17. Another victim was abused when he was between 11-15 years old. Another girl was assaulted during her teenage years. All three victims are now adults.
Hogan will be sentenced on Nov. 17 at 3 p.m.
