DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Police said Thursday that two young children involved in a SWAT response have been safely returned to their mother.
SWAT officers responded to a complex on Woodberry Place to arrest a man with several active warrants.

Investigators say Jakarii Eason and his children’s mother got into an argument at the apartment before she left him there with their two small children.
Channel 2 Action News was on the scene as officers investigated.
Officers determined that Eason and the children were not inside the apartment.

Eason remains on the loose but does not face additional charges from the Wednesday incident.
Police said the children were his and never presumed to be in danger.
Eason faces charges including kidnapping, false imprisonment, family violence battery from a previous incident.
