DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating the death of a 24-year-old DeKalb County Jail inmate found wounded in his cell.

David Addo-Wright of Covington was found unresponsive with several wounds on Wednesday, GBI said in a news release.
He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Addo-Wright’s body was taken to DeKalb County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy

The investigation into Addo-Wright’s death continues.
Anyone with information on Addo-Wright’s death is encouraged to call the GBI Atlanta Regional Investigative Office in Conyers at 770-388-5019.
