DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A son is accused of murdering his own father inside a metro Atlanta home.
Channel 2’s Tyisha Fernandes was on Pepperdine Drive in DeKalb County where the shots were fired.
Investigators say E’Shaun Suggs, 25, told them that he does not remember pulling the trigger.

Police say Suggs shot his father, 65-year-old Jerome Wyatt, several times.
Neighbors say they heard at least six shots.
“[It] makes you wonder about your neighbors,” one man said.
The suspect’s mother said Suggs came into her room and shot his father several times.

“To know that it’s happening in the neighborhood, it’s bad, it’s terrible,” neighbor Quame McShein said.
Fernandes tried speaking to the family, but they did not want to comment on what went on inside the home.
Suggs is being held in the DeKalb County Jail on charges of malice murder and gun possession.
