DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Police said a man has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of his 65-year-old father at a home Friday.
Officers responded to the home on Pepperdine Drive around 5:11 a.m.
The victim, Jerome Wyatt, was found dead from his injuries, DeKalb County Police said.
Investigators arrested 25-year-old Eshaun Suggs. He faces charges of murder and family violence battery and was taken to DeKalb County Jail.
The house is located off Flat Shoals Parkway and a short distance from Chapel Hill Elementary School.
