Chemical spill forces evacuation of Georgia Tech building

ATLANTA — Emergency crews were called to the scene of a chemical spill near Georgia Tech’s Technology Enterprise Park in northwest Atlanta.

The location is at 387 Technology Circle.

A Channel 2 Action News photographer saw crews suiting up in hazmat suits and parts of the building were evacuated.

The building was evacuated as a precaution.

Channel 2′s Tyisha Fernandes went to the scene and said that crews had mostly cleared up the scene.
