ATLANTA — Atlanta police confirmed to Channel 2 Action News they are investigating two people shot in southwest Atlanta.

Officers responded to Oak Drive SW and Empire Boulevard SW Tuesday night and found a man and a woman with apparent gunshot wounds.
The victims were taken to the hospital. Atlanta Police Chief Darin Schierbaum told Channel 2 Action News that one victim is in surgery and one is stable.
There’s no information available about possible suspects.
