Channel 2 Action News was at the meeting, where so many residents from Marietta came to discuss the plan that there was standing room only and some people had to watch the meting form outside.

Council members Cheryl Richardson and Daniel Gaddis voted against the data center at the Aug. 12 meeting.

It was not immediately clear if the threats were made against the council at large or just the five who voted in favor of the project.
