CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — A man accused of bringing contraband to inmates has been arrested after deputies tracked him down in south Georgia.

Clayton County Sheriff’s Office arrested Quentarrious Shivers on Aug. 28, according to authorities.
Deputies said Shivers was captured on video crossing the jail’s guard line and delivering prohibited items to inmates.
Authorities said the alleged contraband included liquor, weapons, telecommunications devices and other prohibited items.

Deputies did not say how the items were delivered, but said members of the fugitive unit found Shivers in south Georgia.
The sheriff’s office warned that anyone attempting to bring contraband into the jail could face criminal charges and arrest.
“Not so fast,” the CCSO said. “If you want to bring contraband to inmates in the Clayton County Jail, we’ll make sure you get some face-to-face time with those same inmates when we take you into custody.”
Shivers is charged with crossing the guard line and three counts of furnishing inmates with prohibited items.
