ATHENS, Ga. — Athens police are investigating after a man was hit and killed early Monday morning.
Police say Brayan Castro-Delgado, 30, was driving a Nissan Frontier on Old Hull Road just before 6 a.m. when he crashed into a ditch.

Investigators say he got out of the truck and walked into the road.
That’s when they say he was hit by a white GMC Sierra.

Castro-Delgado died from his injuries on scene.
Police are working to learn what led up to the crash.
