DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County Schools have confirmed that MLK Jr. High School is on a precautionary lockdown for a threat investigation.
The district says the school received a potential threat on Monday morning and that prompted the lockdown. School officials say at this time, the threat appears to be unfounded.
All students and staff are safe. It’s unclear how long it will be before the precautionary lockdown is lifted.
