ATHENS, Ga. — A kitten who took a very long trip at the young age of 10 weeks old got a clean bill of health after arriving in Georgia under highly unusual circumstances.
According to the Cat Zip Alliance- Campus Cats, a kitten got stuck in a car bumper on the way to Georgia from New Jersey.

Student Jadyn, the car’s owner and a third year ecology student at the University of Georgia drove straight to campus from home.
She told Campus Cats that, “as best as she can figure,” the kitten got stuck in the vehicle while still in New Jersey.
When she got to campus, she parked and left for a few minutes.

When Jadyn got back, she saw “a little leg sticking out of the bumper” and called campus police.
Officers called Campus Cats and after some help from Tires Plus, got the kitten out of the bumper and into veterinary care.
Campus Cats said Tires Plus did the work for free.
A few days after being with Campus Cats, the kitten is officially healthy, minus some sniffles.
He’s available for adoption through Campus Cats in Athens and has received flea and worm treatments, a first dose of his FVRCO vaccine and will be neutered free of charge for anyone who adopts him.
Campus Cats said the new kitten is now one of six all ready for new, loving homes. The organization said it will cover all vet care for the kittens.
