Want your dog to be featured in a film? This could be your chance

CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. — Do you think your dog has what it takes to make the big screen?

Well, this Sunday Atlanta Dogworks is holding an open casting for talented dogs who could feature in a film this summer.

Dogs must be on leash and will be seen on a first come first serve basis.

The casting will run from 1 to 3 p.m. at Atlanta Dogworks in Ball Ground, Ga.

Casting officials said they are looking for white or light blond dogs. Additionally, they are looking for smooth-coated dogs, doodle-types and terriers of all sizes, according to a news release.

Officials say to be eligible, all dogs must have the following characteristics.

  • Well-socialized. Brave in new environments. Friendly with new people and other animals.
  • Local to Atlanta. Able to work as local hire in the Atlanta area through the summer and fall. Availability and a flexible schedule is a must!
  • Able to reliably perform basic obedience behaviors in a new environment around distractions.
  • Athletic with the ability to work outdoors off-leash.

Officials say you can fill out paperwork beforehand to speed up your visit.
