ATLANTA — A man wanted on armed robbery and shoplifting warrants was arrested in Atlanta, according to police.

The Atlanta Police Department said officers received information on Sept. 2 that a known armed robbery suspect was in the area of McDaniel Street SW and Whitehall Street SW.
Officers found the suspect sitting inside a car at a gas station and took him into custody, police said.
Police identified the suspect as 25-year-old Kemonte Pue.

During their investigation, officers said they recovered a gun and more than $12,000 in cash.
According to APD, Pue was arrested on outstanding warrants for armed robbery and shoplifting.
Authorities have not released additional details about the robbery investigation.
Pue was booked into the Fulton County Jail.
