Urgent search underway for 5 suspects who gunned down security guard at DeKalb car dealership

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — An urgent search is on for five people who are accused of gunning down a DeKalb County security guard over the weekend at a car dealership.

Police shared a surveillance photo that shows the five suspects. It’s hard to see their faces or to tell if they are all men or possibly include some women.

The shooting happened just before 11 p.m. Saturday.

Surveillance cameras captured the group of five suspects roaming around the Courtesy Chrysler Dodge dealership near the Mall at Stonecrest.

It’s unclear why they were there, but security guard Henry Ashley, 24, was on duty when police say the group opened fire, shooting and killing Ashley.
