Tropical Storm Fred to bring heavy rain, some storms to metro Atlanta

ATLANTA — Tropical Storm Fred will bring heavy rain and could produce a few strong thunderstorms on Tuesday.

The storm is expected to make landfall on Florida’s western panhandle Monday night with winds of up to 60 mph.
