ATLANTA — A winter weather advisory has been issued for parts of north Georgia, especially for elevations above 2,000 feet.
The advisory calls for the potential of freezing rain and ice, and the possibility of difficult traveling conditions.
Because of the possibility of wintry weather, several districts have closed or delayed opening on Wednesday.
Here is our list of closures or delays:
- Habersham County schools will be closed.
- Pickens County schools will be delayed until 10 a.m. and then will proceed with digital learning after 10 a.m.
- Union and Fannin County schools will have a two-hour delay on Wednesday.
