Teen girl found safe after Amber Alert issued

ATLANTA — UPDATE: Atlanta police said Jeily Castellanos has been found safely and has been reunited with her family. The suspect, Melvin Castellanos, has been arrested and charged.

Police have issued and Amber Alert for a 17-year-old girl they say was abducted.

Police said Jeily Castellanos is thought to be with Melvin Castellanos, 39, who may be her father.

Police said the public should be on the lookout for a black Ford Explorer with a license plate number HMV7986 from North Carolina.
