ATLANTA — Firefighters responded to reports of a natural gas leak on Krog Street Monday.
Atlanta Fire Rescue said that Krog Street was currently blocked between Edgewood Ave. and Irwin Street NW.

Three surrounding businesses were evacuated. They’ve since reopened.
Atlanta Gas Light said a contractor damaged a two-inch line just before noon.
Atlanta firefighters later turned the case over to the gas company for further inspection.

The road has since reopened.
That stretch of road is home to the popular Krog Street Market and The Stove Works developments.
