17-year-old boy killed in shooting near Old Fourth Ward neighborhood

ATLANTA — Police say a 17-year-old boy was shot and killed at an apartment building near Old Fourth Ward Saturday.

Atlanta Police responded to calls for a person shot at 398 Parkway around 2 p.m.

Police said the teen was shot multiple times and later died of his injuries. His identity has not been released.

Police said he lived at the apartment complex.

Crime scene tape is blocking off a part of the road as police investigate.

Police said they are working to gather information on potential suspects.
