Woman arrested after viral video shows brutal attack at Georgia Little Caesars

AUGUSTA, Ga. — A woman who was caught on camera brutally beating another woman and dragging her by the hair at a Georgia Little Caesars has been arrested.

The incident happened Monday around 4 p.m. at the store on Wrightsville Road in Augusta, according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.

Video shows the suspect, identified later by police as 25-year-old Brittany Kennedy, appearing to drag another woman by the hair outside of the restaurant and stomp on her head.

Kennedy was arrested May 25 and has been charged with criminal damage to property, kidnapping, aggravated assault and a probation violation.

The fight was captured on multiple cell phone videos as well as the store’s surveillance camera, according to our sister station, WJBF.

The conflict all happens in front of a toddler, who at one point, witnesses pull away from the brawl.

“A girl with a baby,” Dean Willard told WJBF. “That ain’t right.”

The victim was 22-year-old Emil Broadwater, WJBF reported. She suffered from cuts, bruises, a black eye, and swollen face but refused to go to the hospital.

Kennedy left the scene after the fight, according to WJBF.

Little Caesars provided a statement to WJBF-TV after the incident.

“The safety of our crew members and customers is the most important thing to us. In any case where a customer or employee is in danger, we advise our crew members to call the police immediately,” the statement read.

Police have not revealed a motive for the alleged attack.
