Atlanta Tech Week will kick off Sunday morning with what organizers call the city’s first-ever tech-industry community 5K, bringing together founders, tech professionals and students for a run along the Westside Beltline.

The Tech Race starts at 8 a.m. at Lee + White and marks the flagship launch of The Body of Tech, a Georgia nonprofit with a mission to build a healthier, more connected tech community.

Organizers say runners will take off against the backdrop of the Historic Westside Beltline before crossing the finish line for a celebration. Participants will also receive the organization’s first-ever Founding Member medals.

The race is an official RenderATL community partner event and will launch the first day of a week centered around Atlanta’s growing tech scene.
