FLOYD COUNTY, Ga. — Someone is $50,000 richer after Saturday’s Powerball drawing. No one walked away with the big prize, pushing the overall jackpot to an estimated $747 million.
The $50,000 ticket was sold for Saturday’s drawing at the Fast Trip on Alabama Hwy. in Rome.

No one has won the grand prize since November 2022. The odds of winning the grand prize are 1 in 292,201,338. The odds of winning $1 million are 1 in 11,688,053 and the odds of winning $50,000 are 1 in 913,129.

Georgia Lottery says any prizes less than $600 can be claimed at any of its retailers; however, prizes over $600 must be claimed at the lottery headquarters or district offices or mailed for the payment.
Winners of prizes more than $600 must fill out a winner claim form and have a valid government-issued photo ID with a social security card.
