CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Police are investigating a triple shooting at an apartment complex on Riverdale Road in Jonesboro.
Investigators say one person was shot in the chest, one in the leg and another in the foot during a drive-by shooting at the Willow Way Apartments.
Police say they are investigating the incident as a gang shooting.
One woman told Channel 2 Action News she helped give one of the victims CPR before officers arrived.
"Basically I thought I heard firecrackers and then I came and opened my door and ran outside and I seen him lying on the ground. So somebody else was giving him the breath, and I was pumping his heart,” said the woman named Mocha.
Police say that man was alert and conscious when paramedics arrived.
Neighbors say the shooter peeled out of the parking lot, after firing. They also heard that car zooming around the parking lot, doing donuts, just before the gunfire.
The two other victims were not seriously injured in the shooting.
Police are working to identify the shooter.
