Wings of North Georgia Air Show returns to Rome Friday, Saturday

Wings Over North Georgia Air Show The 2026 Wings Over North Georgia Air Show will return to Russell Regional Airport in Rome, Ga., on April 3 and 4, 2026. The event will feature the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds alongside a variety of top-tier military and civilian aerial performers. (Wings Over North Georgia Air Show)
Wings Over North Georgia Air Show The two-day event includes a Friday afternoon and evening show and a Saturday daytime program. Tickets are available through advance purchase only and will not be sold at the airport on the days of the show. (Wings Over North Georgia Air Show)
Wings Over North Georgia Air Show The Friday session begins with parking lots opening at 1 p.m. followed by opening ceremonies at 3:15 p.m. The Thunderbirds will begin ground ceremonies at 4:20 p.m. and are scheduled to fly at 4:40 p.m. The evening schedule from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. includes a twilight and night air show, a drone show and a fireworks finale. Wings Over North Georgia Air Show On Saturday, the event follows a daytime schedule with parking lots opening at 8 a.m. Opening ceremonies and aerial performances are set to begin at noon. The Thunderbirds will perform as the final act of the day starting at 4 p.m. (Wings Over North Georgia Air Show)
Wings Over North Georgia Air Show Military demonstrations for the 2026 show include the Thunderbirds, the F-15 Bayou Militia and the Chuters Skydiving Team. A wide variety of civilian performers are also scheduled, including Redline Air Shows, Fox Jet Sailplane and GhostWriter Airshows Super Chipmunk. (Wings Over North Georgia Air Show)
