Enjoy some of America’s top jams, salsas while navigating corn maze at north Georgia attraction

If playing with animals, navigating a corn maze and enjoying some locally produced treats fits the bill, head to Hillside Orchards Farms in north Georgia.

Hillside Orchard Farms is in the north Georgia mountains. The Mitcham family has owned and operated the facility for more than 30 years. On the wholesale end, the farm creates and distribute all kinds of preserves, jams, jellies,pickles, salsas and fruit ciders across the country. Their retail market is open to the public a few days a week, too.

Enjoy visiting with some of the farm’s animals, including goats, pigs, hens, roosters, rabbits and more.

Once you say hello to all of the farm’s animals, experience one of the farm’s seasonal offerings. In the fall, there’s a corn maze to explore. Other seasons bring Easter egg hunts, blackberry picking and apple picking.

There’s indoor gem mining year-round along with train rides, a playground and antique equipment to check out.

Wrap up the day with a trip to the gift shop to enjoy one of the farm’s creations.
