ATHENS, Ga. — The University of Georgia Bulldogs dominated the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers 70-20, a 50-point differential, at Sanford Stadium in Athens on Saturday.

Gunner Stockton completed 13 of 16 passes in the game before handing over quarterbacking duties to the backup Ryan Puglisi.
Stockton tied a program record with five passing touchdowns.
The team held a 49-0 advantage by halftime, tying the school record for the highest-scoring half.

Georgia’s offense had 493 yards for the game, while Western Kentucky only had 225.
Georgia wore all-white uniforms, including white pants, jerseys and helmets, for the first time in program history.
Carson Beck was the most recent Georgia player to throw five touchdown passes in a game, achieving the mark against Georgia Tech and Tennessee Tech in 2024.
Stockton connected with five different receivers for scores, starting with a 7-yard touchdown pass to tight end Ethan Barbour about one minute into the game.
Stockton also threw scoring passes to Talyn Taylor, Sacovie White-Helton, London Humphreys and running back Chauncey Bowens, bringing his season total to eight touchdown passes with no interceptions across two games.
Georgia added scoring plays across multiple units. Tyriq Green scored twice, returning a kickoff 91 yards for a touchdown and recovering a fumble in the end zone. Nate Frazier contributed a 55-yard rushing touchdown, while Landon Roldan added a 9-yard touchdown run.
The game began in light rain that intensified into a downpour by the third quarter.
Georgia is now 2-0 in the young season and visits SEC foe Arkansas next Saturday. Western Kentucky falls to 0-2.
