ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A note was found taped to the door believed to be the family home of the man Orlando police say shot and killed singer Christina Grimmie Friday night at the Plaza Live.
The note, written in what appears to be black permanent marker on plain white paper, read, “Deepest sorrow for lost (sic). To the family, friends and fans of the very talented, loving Christina Grimmie. No other comments.”

Orlando police identified Kevin Loibl, 27, as the shooter late Saturday afternoon. A property records search showed he shared the St. Petersburg single-family home with his father and brother.
Knocks on the front door went unanswered.
