CHICAGO — Police in Chicago had to tackle a man running down the middle of an expressway – with his pants around his ankles.
Investigators started getting calls about the man shortly after 6 a.m. Tuesday.
Initial reports said the man was walking along the Dan Ryan Expressway and also along metro rails tracks.
Authorities had to cut power to the metro tracks while police approached the man.
He started running and his pants fell down to his ankles.
Eventually the man was taken into custody, put in the back of an ambulance and was taken to a nearby hospital.
Officials are still not sure why the man was on the expressway to begin with.
