ALBANY, Ga. — A woman died in the early morning hours after police say she jumped from a moving vehicle.

Albany police said they responded to the 700 block of Newton Road on Saturday morning at 1 a.m. on a call of a deceased person.
There, they found Olivia Robinson deceased.
Investigators say Robinson was a passenger in the vehicle when she got out of the vehicle while it was moving.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
Media reports indicate Robinson was an Albany State University student.
The university celebrated homecoming Friday, according to the school’s social media account.
Albany State University hasn’t commented on the death.
