“We only see Level 3 risks maybe a couple of times a year,” said Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Katie Walls.

The Level 3 risk area includes parts of Haralson, Heard, Carroll and Troup counties. The biggest threats include heavy rain, damaging wind gusts, and isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out.

The damaging winds could be in excess of 60 to 70 mph.
