2 children shot at apartment complex in DeKalb County

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb Police say three children were injured in a shooting Monday night.

The shooting took place at the Lakes at Indian Creek Apartments just before 8 p.m. The complex is located on N. Indian Creek Drive just off Memorial Drive.

According to police, two of the children were shot and a third was injured by broken glass.

The victims, 11, 9 and 7, were all taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said they believe this to be an isolated event and are working to identify the person that is responsible for the shooting.
