ATLANTA — Spring travel for most metro Atlanta school districts is next week. And that means be prepared to see a lot of traffic starting this weekend.
The good news is the Georgia Department of Transportation will suspend interstate lane closures to accommodate increased traffic during the Spring Break season.
The suspension will take effect at 10 p.m. Friday and remain in place until 5 a.m. Monday. The travel alert applies to all Georgia interstates.
