SOUTH FULTON, Ga. — In response to recent shootings involving metro Atlanta teens, South Fulton Mayor khalid has joined with rapper Young Dro for a youth town hall on gun violence.
The town hall is a free event that is open to the public and will be held today at the Southwest Arts Center in South Fulton.

The town hall is the brainchild of South Fulton resident and award-winning rapper, Young Dro.
“Many have criticized hip-hop for encouraging gun violence, so when Dro came to me and said ‘we gotta talk about what we’re feeding these kids, mentally, through our music...’ it was the perfect topic at the perfect time,” Mayor khalid said.
