Many voters said the stakes are high in this election, and they wanted to voice their vote as soon as they could.

“I don’t like waiting until the last minute,” Jennifer Jackson-Booker told Channel 2’s Tom Jones outside the voting precinct at the Wolf Creek library in the City of South Fulton.

Jackson-Booker has an early bird gets the worm mentality with everything she does, including voting. That’s why she voted on the first day of early voting. She said this election is very important.

“It is. It’s very important. It’s a lot on the line right now,” Jackson-Booker said.

Dr. Avery Kenly said he had to vote on the first day because he wanted to help set the tone. He said there is so much at stake. “We see what’s happening with our gas. With various prices in regard to groceries and food. The war.”

Von Logan says there was a line when he voted at Wolf Creek.

“I got mine in and tomorrow, and I’m going to bring somebody over here to vote,” Logan said.
