Showers, isolated thunderstorms possible this evening

ATLANTA — Scattered showers have developed and are moving across north Georgia.

Those showers are expected to stick around throughout the evening.

Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brad Nitz said a surge of cool air has moved in from the east and the rain has formed on the edge of that front.

"That will continue to push toward the west as we head through the next few hours," Nitz said.
