ATLANTA — MARTA police tell Channel 2 that one of its officers stopped a suspect at a train station Wednesday after shots were fired nearby.
The incident had people scrambling in the area Wednesday afternoon around the Oakland City MARTA station at 1400 Lee Street SW.

Channel 2’s Tyisha Fernandes spotted a line of law enforcement officers swarming around 3:45 p.m.
MARTA police said the person they were holding was turned over to the Atlanta Police Department.
Atlanta police reported they have two people in custody.
Police said there were no injuries or property damage reported.
