Police say man killed in shooting at Intercontinental Hotel in Buckhead

ATLANTA, Ga. — Police say a man has died after he was shot at the Intercontinental Hotel in Buckhead on Sunday afternoon.

Police said they responded to reports of a person shot around 2 p.m. at the hotel. They found a man with a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition but later died.

The victim’s name has not been released.

Officers detained another man at the scene. That man’s name also has not been released.

Police are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
