DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County police say they have arrested two bounty hunters after a shooting near Georgia Regional Hospital in Decatur.
Police said the two bounty hunters were chasing a suspect and fired a “non-lethal shot” at the suspect on Panthersville Road. The person they were chasing was not caught.
It is not clear if the shots were fired inside the hospital or outside the facility.
The two bounty hunters were kept at the scene but later released. No DeKalb County police officers were involved in the shooting.
The hospital is located at 3073 Panthersville Road.
Viewers told Channel 2 Action News that the hospital was on lockdown.
